Our name, Empart, has been derived from the words ‘empowering’ and ‘partnering’. In this way, ‘Empart’ means to develop partnerships that empower one another in a mutually beneficial way.

Vision

Empart exists to bring holistic transformation to individuals and communities in Asia.

Goal

Our primary goal is to see 100,000 communities transformed in Asia by 2030.

Our values

Making disciples

God has called us to make disciples of all nations (Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19-20). Because of our commitment to this value we focus on transforming communities so that those who are reached can be restored, released and resourced to make disciples themselves.

Pioneering

We believe that we have a greater obligation to those who have never heard about Jesus than to those who already have. Because of our commitment to this value we encourage and invest in those who are pioneering new works among unreached people. As Paul said, ‘My ambition is to preach Christ to those who have never heard, so that I will not be building on another’s foundation’ (Romans 15:20).

Radical dependence on God

We believe that God is our provider and equipper in all He calls us to do. Because of our commitment to this value we rely on God for his provision and trust him to lead and guide us in all that we do. We encourage obedience to God’s word and place our confidence in the goodness and care he has for all of his children.

Sacrificial commitment

We believe that God demands unconditional dedication, surrender and commitment. Because of our commitment to this value we follow Christ’s example and encourage others to be willing to give, obey, endure and live out God’s will regardless of their circumstances. It is with this sort of resolve that great things can be achieved.

Empowering partnerships

We believe that the Lord never calls one person to work alone but as part of one body. Because of our commitment to this value we seek effective partnerships where each party is both enriched and diligent. We encourage equal sacrifice rather than equal giving and enjoy making connections which draw people together in relationship.

Generous living

We believe God requires all Christians to live a life of sharing and giving. Because of our commitment to this value we encourage generosity, practiced as a lifestyle which includes the sharing and giving of finances, time, hospitality and resources. It is through generous living that the family of God is strengthened.

Attitude of service

We believe every believer should follow Christ’s example of service. Because of our commitment to this value we seek opportunities to serve one another. In humility we value others above ourselves, not looking to our own interests but each to the interests of others (Phil 2:3-5).
